Gosh ! I saw the sun today!!! Page 1    No really, I did! I dunno where you live, but where I'm from, this was quite an event! Oh, I don't mean to be negative, but come on! - let's get winter over with now, and get on with the year. Seems like we've all been huddled up in woolly-pullies forever and now it's time to start noticing the world again, you know, looking up at the sky or talking over the fence to a neighbour or listening to birds singing etc, etc. In some countries they festivals in February [I don't mean like Valentine's Day, I mean proper events lasting a least a week] - I think this is a brilliant idea - don't know what their origins are, but the significance is huge cos they can look forward to the celebrations and brighten up an otherwise totally dull winter after the euphoria of Xmas and New Year. Anyway it's Easter just around the corner, so I'm starting a diet to prepare for THAT!
