Chapter 3 : Newton follows a Yellow-backed Toad and finds the 'Lizard' of Oz' Page 2

Although the plan was working and the cases he'd chosen were big, so that he couldn't be seen, he also found it difficult to see anything much himself. To make matters worse, being on the conveyor belt had reminded him of when he was in the toy factory trundling nearer and nearer to the dreaded Reject Bin! Poor Newton! he felt like he was right back there again - the more he sat hiding behind the baggage the more he thought of the terrible fate that would swallow him up when he got to the end of the conveyor belt! all he could do was cover his eyes with his ears [this is very useful if you can do this, as you can close you eyes AND your ears with one quick action and completely block out the problem whatever it might be. However you might consider this to be a similar action to that of an Ostrich, which apparently buries it's head in the sand at the first sign of danger].
