Chapter 1 : Newton Begins... Page 1    This is the story of how I came to be. I really wanted to do a Murder Mystery kind of thing and tell it in instalments, but they pointed out that as it was supposed to be about me, it would probably be better if it wasn’t a murder at least. (Gulp) they’ve got a point! So here’s my story in instalments and just to be clear - it’s NOT a murder mystery..... Newton was pulled off the production line at ‘FURRY FELLOWS TOY FACTORY’ by ‘quality control’ for having two odd eyes and lop-sided ears. He also failed to meet the Furry Fellows ‘Guaranteed Minimum Stuffing Requirement’ as laid down in old Mr. Fellows original mission statement. He was saved from ‘a fate worse than death’ by ‘Old Mr. Fellows’ himself. Old Mr Fellows has a gift for spotting ‘special’ toys – toys which have somehow just at the right moment, on the right day, under just the right conditions, acquired a little ‘something’ extra.
